Brief: Additions and Alterations. Expand existing 95sqm Family home to suit growing Family needs to 200sqm. Provide x3 new bedrooms including Master with ensuite and walk-in-robe. Provide new kitchen/dining/family space and new laundry. New UPVC double glazed joinery throughout and thermal upgrade. 

Site: 113 Wellington St, Howick, Auckland. Zone: Mixed Housing Urban. 985sqm

Scope: NA engaged Building Consent, site observation services. No resource consent required.

Design Principles: Improve flow, functionality and open plan with indoor/outdoor flow, yet maintain privacy to neighbours with strategic landscaping. Careful consideration of new private bedroom wing and public living areas for privacy. Designed for the sun and to strict planning rules.

Timeline: Completed 2024. 

Consultants: Geotech, Structural engineers. We acted as Lead Consultant for coordination and consenting.
