Granger Rd - Renovation

Brief: 250 sqm Family home over 2 levels. Reclad 1960s existing home with modern JH Linea weatherboard and open up facade with new steel portal to allow for new joinery and new deck to maximise views directly over Howick Beach. Improved indoor/outdoor flow to new deck and new kitchen. Modernise exterior and interior throughout. 

Site: 5 Granger Road, Cockle Bay, Auckland. 970sqm. Residential – Mixed Housing Suburban Zone

Scope: NA engaged for Building Consent, no resource consent required as we met strict planning rules.

Design Principles: Open plan with indoor/outdoor flow and maximise views. Use of robust, modern materials in context with coastal environment and strict planning rules.

Timeline: Complete 2023

Consultants: Geotech, Structural engineers. We acted as Lead Consultant for coordination.
